A quick meal idea using a few items from Trader Joe’s, these delicious Crispy Baja Fish Tacos took under 15 minutes to put together.

You can use Trader Joe’s Battered Halibut or Fish Nuggets for thes the tacos (I prefer the Battered Halibut). El Milagro are the best store bought corn tortillas, but they might be exclusive to Trader Joe’s in Texas.

Ingredients

  • 10 oz Trader Joe’s Battered Halibut
  • 6 Corn Tortillas
  • Trader Joe’s Shredded Green & Red Cabbage
  • Trader Joe’s Cilantro Dressing
  • Lime Wedges
  • Trader Joe’s Fine Sea Salt
  • Canned Organic Black Beans
  • Sour Cream (optional)
  • Chopped Green Onions (optional)

Method

  • 1)

If you have an Air Fryer, pre-heat it to 380°F and air fry the halibut pieces for 10 minutes, flipping them half way through or follow the Oven instructions on the back of the package.

  • 2)

Use a non-stick skillet, comal or cast iron pan on medium heat to warm up and soften the corn tortillas. It only takes about 20-30 seconds per tortilla, then set them on serving plates.

  • 3)

Add some shredded cabbage to each tortilla and drizzle on a generous amount of Trader Joe’s Cilantro Dressing. Add a piece of Battered Halibut to each taco, sprinkle some Sea Salt on the halibut pieces, drizzle on some sour cream or crema and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve with warm Black Beans and lime wedges. Enjoy!
